二〇一三年また...

"Until 2013..." (Do Japanese even write their years like that? Cuz in Chinese we do 『到二〇一三年見』)

Anyway.

Yes, I should be studying but not being able to solve exercises seriously makes you feel like doing stuff you shouldn't. omg. And that includes wasting money alskdhgalsdf//

This is an illust I wanted to make for New Year's.

At first I wanted to draw a girl hugging some sort of ghost but that came out to be a bit too creepy and depressing. It was supposed to be a "Goodbye 2012, hello 2013" drawing, something like "Yay! Let's move forward! Remembering good things that happened in the last year!" So no-no to sad stuff.

Then I thought of drawing two people back to back. Oh, by the way, they're supposed to be the same person. But then that would come out too emo... Back to back is always emo.

So that is what finally came out. Here's the lineart:

I actually like this lineart a lot. It was really hard drawing it, probably because of an artblock. ahah;; But in the end the lines came out pretty nicely.

And I was sorta obsessed with Saint Seya: Episode G (the manga... I'm not even sure there's an anime) AGAIN and was crazily copying stuff from some volumes XD (I'll show you guys later) So because of the many many flying rocks and rubble, I ended up inserting very random rocks LOL My friend said that flowers would look nicer, but... I can't draw flowers at all, especially without ref, which was the case rocks are more fun (???)

BUT OF COURSE. I REMEMBERED I HAVE NO CREATIVITY--

I seriously think I have this thing (called a brain) that fixates everything for years and then "creates" other stuff heavily based off those memories;; That's probably why when I was younger people would associate my drawings with CLAMP's immediately~ I'm pretty sure all the compositions I've made until today have been used earlier by some other person/group;; orz

WHAT TO DO. I'm not sure I can continue it;;; EVEN THE COLORS ARE SIMILAR//// Ok, the colors aren't that similar *just checked*

So I inverted the picture horizontally and changed their positions/angles a bit. But--

I'M STILL NOT SURE WHAT TO DO. I'm not even supposed to be drawing--

This will probably not get done until mid-January.

PS: I ended up finding out something on accident. For those of you who like the paper texture for your tablet when you draw, try putting an actual piece of paper over your tablet (: It will still be sensible to your pen and you will be able to have that nice paper texture! o/

I know I'm late, but it's just one day! Give me a break! XDD

So I spent some days doing this ilust. @v@ It actually did come out pretty much as I imagined it, but it's not as stunning as I wish it were... I still need to practice coloring *^*/

But it was fun. I killed myself during these days and I'm still dying (I need to go to sleep soon...) Many adjustments must be made, and they will be soon, probably during the middle of July.

Anyway, Merry Christmas! It's pretty weird, so much work for one day... Oh well XDD

I played around a bit with layers (taking them off and on), and I thought some versions were acceptable:

No moon version! Characters just flying around in the sky XD The lighting becomes a bit awkward though haha;

And only moon version! XDDDD As you can see, not even the moon was in the center of the illust. Which means a lot has to be done... hahahah It's pretty dramatic @v@

And a wallpaper version, idea I took off a friend (K*) XD It's for my monitor, so it's 1370x768 (something like that)

MAN am I dying. So I'll just stop here. XD

Heyy! It's been a long time, huhh! XDD

I thought I'd post only five or six pictures at a time, but... Well, since it's been a long time, and I should put away the old sketchbook, let's just post everything at once XD

With this entry I finish posting all the decent stuff in my sketchbook ☆ There's not much decent stuff really XD Most of it are unfinished sketches I'm too lazy to finish, and some of it is personal stuff hehe But yeah, nobody cares~ >v< / MAJOR POKÉMON SPAM!

Red + Green + Pikachu + Eevee ♥
Not much to say about this one except that Red's head needs serious repairing;;

This Pikachu is totally out of scale XD

I really like the idea of Pikachu being able to fall asleep with Red~ It's sorta like he's not really with Red, but he's imagining him? And ofc, Red is always there taking care of him... ^^

Practiced a bit of shadowing here~

For some reason, I really like Blue. I based this drawing off of Blue from Pokémon Adventures manga (aka Pokémon Special)~ It's a very fun manga, especially for those who really enjoy the Pokémon fandom, which is based very heavily on this manga and on the games~

Jigglypuff looks extremely creepy here, but I wanted to draw it with a very static expression haha~ Wanted to do a city landscape, but will have to work on it later XD I do plan on coloring this!

You must be asking, "Where's Pokémon in this one?!" XD

If you follow my for some time now, you'll remember Unagi from PBF (Pokémon Battle Frontier) and my Roselia Gijinka~ Here you can see a slight redesigning in him~

It's not like he's hitting on Una-chan or anything, but he just likes to be charming with all girls~ XD Unagi, though, doesn't care at all, and just wants to get things done~ So, "Pokéball" and "Inside" and "Get in" XD ("But Mast-- ╬")

Yeah, Bulbasaur being cute with Chikorita. XD

Seriously. I'm sure this is everyone's OTP. HAHA For some reason, I've always paired Bulbasaur with Chikorita. Chikorita being female ofc. Although the chances of her being MALE are much much higher... (3:1)

It's hard to see here, but Bulba's vines are intertwining Chiko's, and he's the one getting the apple. Crazily blushing and thinking, "I love you" with Woobats and Luvdiscs all over the place~ XD

BY THE WAY, anyone know any other heart Pokémon, except for Kokoromori? I'm sure Luvdiscs are really related to love and crap~

Fusing two things I really love! Baseball uniforms and Pokémon! ♥♥♥

For some reason, I really love baseball uniforms. XD They're not even pretty... (srsly) I love them best when guys are wearing black underneath... hurr;

Had this idea for a Pokémon baseball game/championship. Should totally put it into practice, but no time/inspiration/ability;;;

Well, I think this is it =v=/ I hope you've enjoyed looking at these as much as I had fun drawing them (although some drawings were really a pain to do;; haha) But as you can see, I really love drawing Pokémon. I have drawn Eevolutions and stuff, but... Maybe you'll have to wait a bit more till you see them ★
